Lips
can impart a myriad of nuances in character if you are aware of what they
are saying in their unspoken signals. Firstly, the way they are formed can
indicate the refinement or crudeness of a person. Their width and volume
speaks of their generosity or meanness and their demand for love. The way
they end in the corners can denote their temperament and even if they can
bring good fortune. How they meet in the centre also holds a meaning.
For
this reason, many women are now resorting to cosmetic surgery and other
scientific aids to enhance the negative appearance of their lip shapes and
although surgery and collagen can improve their appearances somewhat, it
never hides the subtle hints that remains to give you a glimpse of what
lives in their souls.

I can speak volumes on lips
alone but now I shall dwell on the smile and begin with the
most famous of all – the smile of the Mona Lisa. Songs have
been written about it and critics have dissected it but that
smile has intrigued millions. What is she saying with that
smile?
|
|
When
a person smiles without parting his or her lips, you can bet that
that person has a great deal to hide – it could be just bad teeth
or a sweet secret. But you can be sure that that person is “tight
lipped” as the saying goes and is not in a hurry to reveal himself
to anyone. Your secrets are safe with him or her, but, will you ever
know him well enough to confide your secrets to him?
|
|
On the contrary, beware of the
one who unashamedly gives you a wide toothy gum-exposed smile. He or
she can appear to be Oh! So sympathetic and ready to lend you a
shoulder to cry on just so she can gather another juicy bit of
gossip to pass on to her community of gossip-mongers. Stay clear of
this type no matter how lonely you are or you will be the centre of
discussion at the coffee-machine, the bar or whatever waterhole the
sad and lonely congregate. Be especially wary if such a person has a
loud laugh!

|
When you find a person
attractive and endearing, at first glance you will invariably
find that it was his or her open frank smile, with a moderate
amount of teeth showing and that genuine light in the eyes.
|
|
A smile has been known to launch
a thousand ships like Helen of Troy’s or as the late Nat
King Cole sang “Smile through your tears and sorrow and
you’ll find that life is still worthwhile if you just
smile”.
Your smile is your best Face
Luck! It overcomes obstacles and softens the sternest command.
Try it and make it your New Year’s resolution to put on a
Smiling Face for Good Luck to come pouring in this 2001!

Turned-Down
Lips: This is called the “Fish Mouth” by the Chinese. It is
the mouth of someone who is dissatisfied with himself and life
in general and does not have anything nice to say about anyone.
It is a mouth of a gloomy person who will end his or her life in
loneliness.
|
| Turned-Up Lips: These lips
belong to a person who is friendly and open-hearted and kind! He
or she is easily taken advantage of because of his generosity
and kindness and is more often than not mistaken for a
promiscuous person because those with such lips are of a sensual
nature. People with such lips that have a mole on either the top
or bottom lip can draw a lot of admirers and are said to have
insatiable sexuality.
|

|
|
Those with such lips and with a
mole above or below the lips are most fortunate and can attain
wealth and fame.
